Lily received her Master's Degree in the Sociology of Education from New York University's Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development in 2007. While in New York, she originated the position of Girls Softball Coordinator for Harlem RBI: Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities in East Harlem.
Upon returning to Los Angeles, Lily completed her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program with YogaWorks Los Angeles in 2008. She began teaching yoga to students in underserved areas with Sat Naam Yoga in Schools in 2009 and trained new teachers for the same program from 2012-2014. Lily also completed the Yoga Wall training with Bryan Legere in 2011 in Ventura, CA and feels very fortunate to have a Yoga Wall in her home studio. In 2017, Lily earned her Prenatal Yoga Certification through the Khalsa Way Prenatal Training with Gurmukh at Golden Bridge in Santa Monica.
Now Lily teaches pregnancy yoga in her home studio in Sherman Oaks and she continues to inspire kids in the Los Angeles area with her weekly yoga classes, original songs and educational plays. Her music has been featured in The Center of the World Festival and she collaborated with her sister Fiona Landers on a collection of essays about their dad called A Series of Bungee Cords.
